In recent years, the use of renewable energy sources has become increasingly important. In particular, the exploitation of biomass and processing waste is an economical and clean alternative to fossil fuels. At the forefront of this sector is Costruzioni Nazzareno, a company from Treviso specialising in wood chip and pellet plants with more than 30 years’ experience. Costruzioni Nazzareno has installed lines in Italy as well as in France, Slovakia, Romania, Austria, Japan, Croatia, United Kingdom, Poland, Uruguay, Russia, Brazil, Serbia, Bulgaria, Bahrain, and Belarus.

The company, founded by Nazzareno Carlesso in 1988, has become a reference point in the processing of raw materials and the recovery of industrial processing residues such as swarf and sawdust. Nazzareno Costruzioni manufactures every element of the lines in house: coolers, dryers, mixers, iron removing drums, hammer mills, belts and conveying systems, briquetting presses, grinders, chippers, sorting and roughing machines, hoppers and bagging machines. All these components require the use of a large quantity of a versatile and indispensable material: sheet metal.
To bend all this sheet metal, Nazzareno Costruzioni has equipped itself with a brand new X-Press 330/5000 made to measure. The press brake has a stroke of 300 mm and a bench-ram opening of 500 mm. The structure is sensorised with the Reflex deformation compensation system to monitor the deflection of the C-frames. In addition, a tracking system of bent parts and production batches developed by our Software team allows this press brake to access tax benefits in the framework of Industry 4.0.
The backgauge has 5 axes (X-R-Z1-Z2-X6) controlled by CNC, with an additional stop on the fingers to increase the maximum depth of the X-axis. On the ram, we have installed our innovative Gasparini AirSlide sliding pneumatic tool adapter system, which works without air hoses. The self-centering bench is 90 mm wide and has pneumatic clamping. Both can be operated using the convenient Syner-G remote control.
On the front side there are two sliding front supports with 800*200 mm scratch-resistant top and storage drawer. On the ram we have also installed the LED Drive Bar, which assists the operator in positioning the tools and indicates the active work station.
The CNC is a very powerful Delem DA-69T with a 17″ touch screen. Along with the CNC we have supplied Delem Profile-T 3D offline software: CAM software that allows designers in the engineering office to import DXF, STEP and IGES files, create bend programs and export them to the CNC via the network. The press brake is also equipped with the Tele-Link remote service tool, through which our service staff can connect to access the machine configuration and troubleshoot various problems via remote diagnostics.
