An important wage adjustment for metalworkers

We are happy to announce important news for all metalworkers: as of 1 June 2023, the wage adjustment provided for in the metalworkers’ national collective agreement signed on 05/02/2021 by Federmeccanica-Assital and the trade unions FIM-FIOM-UILM came into force.

This adjustment, as stipulated in the contract, resulted in a wage increase of 6.6% for metalworkers to whom the CCNL applies. After the ISTAT communication, the amount of the 2022 Ipca adjustment net of imported energy was higher than the total reference wage increase established in the CCNL for 2023 by 1.44% (€27 for C3 level). Consequently, the safeguard clause was activated, allowing a salary adjustment in line with the actual HICP value.
