For C.L.A.F. Carpenterie Metalliche, based in Bareggio (MI), sheet metal bending is a central production process. For this reason, they turned to Gasparini Industries for a custom project: an X-Press Next 165/3000 press brake, designed to combine precision, reliability, and customization.
A concentration of technology
The machine is equipped with a GPS4 angle control system, which ensures precise bending from the first piece. The 5-axis CNC-controlled backgauge (X-R-Z1-Z2-X6) and the addition of 2 retractable sheet metal supports guarantee maximum flexibility even with the most complex geometries, while Gasparini adaptive crowning and the E-Reflex system allow for real-time compensation of structural deformations, maintaining consistent quality even on the longest batches.
Ergonomics and ease of use
Interaction with the machine is facilitated by the Delem DA-66S numerical control and the Profile Lite SL offline software, which simplifies programming. The 100 mm Toolever tool holders, manual lower clamping, and sliding front supports ensure a comfortable, safe, and fast operator experience.
Efficiency and connectivity
Other features include the ECO package for energy savings, LED workspace lighting, the Syner-G remote control, and preparation for Tele-Link remote assistance. Completing the package is the Industry 4.0 package, which makes the machine ready for integration into modern digital production systems.
